Friday update

Great news! Hayley has been moved out of the Critical Care Unit and into a regular room on the same floor. She no longer needs the oxygen or the morphine drip (oh damn) and was able to eat some oatmeal this morning. Unfortunately that became an oatmeal fountain but hopefully it was a short turnaround and tasted just as good the second time! She is doing just great and getting better every minute. No doubt due to all of the good wishes coming her way! Keep 'em comin'....

Sorry to hear about the oatmeal, but your move out of ICU is great news.

Here's hoping you keep the rest of your food down from now on.

Love you!

Good news Edna, love it. Tell her I said if she's not keeping it down at least she won't have to worry about being a "boomba-latty". Or maybe not, that might make her laugh and that could hurt. But please please please tell her Mike & Shirley & Wow & Tweak LOVE her.

Did the oatmeal look the same going down as it did coming up? My guess is that this will be good fodder for Hayley's blog when she's able to write. Great news she's in a regular room. Send her Stacy's, Jerry's, Kramer's, Jamie's and Puddy's love, kisses, and licks.

Hayley and Tim,

It has been great to read about Hayley's surgery without having to invade your space during this time of emotional stress and now healing.

Budge and I are thrilled with Hayley's progress so far (except the oatmeal incident) and will keep our eye on you both.

Live to love life,
Lorraine

Knowing Hayley, she will make some kind of oatmeal fountain art and become a famous artist with the mysterious technique......

I am so glad she is in her own room now so she can get her beauty sleep ;)

Keep up the good work Hayley and Tim! Many gentle hugs and belly laughs later

Great news about the move to a regular room (and as everyone else said, "Sorry about the oatmeal incident!")

THANK YOU, THANK YOU for keeping us continually updated on Hayley's progress. Just think .... you'll be able to publish all of this some day soon, become millionaires, and sail away to some gorgeous island. Because our comments are adding to all of this, you'll be obligated to invite us all to join you!

Love & Hugs from Pat & Bill :-)

Good morning beloveds~

I just listened to Joan Rivers on NPR discussing her new book, "Men Are Stupid...And They Like Big Boobs".
(Sorry Tim - I'm sure she didn't mean ALL men are stupid ...*cough cough*)

Very very funny - no doubt a good read for you when ''busting a gut" ceases to be a literal consequence of laughter. (ow)

Meanwhile, since you have to be still and recover, keep your eye out for small items at the hospital that you can surreptitiously collect and use later in awesome craft projects. Before you know it, everyone will be wanting a Wound Swab Lampshade!
